I like how you use the word "current" to describe the economy. Shit hasn't changed its been the same economy for over a hundred years. And yes it's an online video game. But it's not like WoW's expansions have stayed at the price from when they launched or the game itself. Age decreased value period. Companies lower prices to increase sales, period. If you actually believe that charging the same amount for every item for its existence you haven't quite thought things thru and certainly wouldn't make a very good business owner. The simple fact is people won't pay top dollar for something that has been deemed "old." The word clearance at all retail stores proves this.
