So this guy was a complete asshole to my little brother...
JUST NOW MY BROTHER BEAT SKOLAS AGAIN-AND GOT REWARDS THIS TIME!
My 11 year old brother came to me in tears just now. He had just beaten Skolas with two other guys and IMMEDIATELY got kicked right after Skolas went down. Then, this guy invited his friend to get the rewards, and started being a complete dick to my little brother for no reason. My brother said they called him "really mean names," and I frankly don't want to think about what that could mean.
Why do people do this? I don't understand. I don't care if it's the Internet and people can be dickheads over anonymity, this is horrible. My brother shouldn't come to me crying because of some dickhead loser kicking him from the treasure room.
Edit: to those who don't believe me, check my bro's history "Donald Doge"
Edit 2: bro just told me he was kicked right after Skolas went down, so he didn't even get the drops. I had gotten that part wrong, but I edited it now
Edit 3: Someone researched this guy and apparently he's the Xbox Live version of KirmitTHEFrog, he kicks everyone and invites his friends after completing activities. I can't post gamertags, but if you could do me the favor of finding my bro's Skolas match from earlier today and report that guy, it'd be great
Edit 4: I can't believe this community. The kid who glitched and got his characters deleted got nothing but support, yet my brother who beat Skolas, got kicked AND cursed at by adults is being told he shouldn't have been doing that. -blam!-ing really guys? I'm done with this site. Yeah, I should've monitored it better, I'm doing that from now on, but seriously?! I doubt many of you have kids or younger siblings. Smh

For a lot of the ppl on the "age~gap" issue; one of the leading reddit topics yesterday before during the day were 2 photos comparing how one dressed as a 13 year old 20 years ago and how they dress now. Yea the yoga/tight pants and midriff even made me pause about hoping I never have a daughter PERIOD because I couldn't deal with that stuff. But that's the nature of how things change; gamers are becoming younger and younger. Likewise anyone trolling about the "oh it's a life lesson" or "he needs to learn stuff the hard way", apparently the 2 other gamers weren't raised all that well. Fact the "care~bear" community is always a necessity and risk; day1 players remember how players passing by VoG made it possible to just get inside the first time; they were the ones who allow non-large clans and randoms to make their first steps into the endgame content. We can troll however much we want or offer our sympathies but calling out the OP isn't really needed; his brother was a victim and his getting kicked was just a completely unneeded act of douchebaggery

All i have to say is this: your bro got trolled, yes its a dick move, but he got trolled, I personally would advice you to teach your brother and educate him about trolls, and teach him how to troll, for when something like that happens again, he could troll them back, if you font have the slightest clue on how to troll/troll=revenge, let me know for I am a professional *le troller, I'm on xbox360.

3 RepliesTeach your brother about trolls. Honestly, you can't avoid it or do anything against it. The sooner your brother learns about things like those, the better for him. Trust me on this one. Maybe it was even for the better that he experienced something like that. I'm not saying that this should happen to him or anyone else on a regular basis, but people learn how to deal with certain stuff only when they experience it themselves. This is what allows us to grow and to continue on our path.

The resounding lesson from this and many similar posts is this: If you are playing with randoms, always host. No, this does not mean join a fireteam and demand host. This means start your own group and host. There are too many trolls and frankly crappy 34s out there. This expansion, and how easy it is to hit 34 has ruined a majority of LFG sites. I feel bad for your brother because he got screwed by some grade A doucherockets, but like many have said, this is a great lesson. Not all lessons need to be sugar coated. Just sit him down and explain some people are just like that. My sympathies-

At least the best rewards from the 35 PoE come from killing Skolas, not the chest. He didn't miss out on much, just had an extra dosage of douche baggary. However, not knowing their side of the story, your brother could have been an annoying squeaker who got carried. Not saying this is the case, but definitely a possibility.

Ignore 75% of this board. If he wasnt annoying enough to kick before skolas. Nothing he did was annoying enough to kick after. Most likely it was planned. Round 2 or 3 ...one of them messaged the other and said..."lets kick this kid after skolas". People are assholes.
