Swarm Grenade Issue Settled

The biggest issue in terms of recent events in Destiny's PvP game system is the (assumed) oversight in coding that is the swarm grenade. People have been using this glitch to fill their supers in the early seconds of online play by using a perk that increases super energy on grenade grenade kills. This post is a piece-by-piece breakdown of the issue. If you wish to contribute facts or valid counterarguments, do so in the comments, and be respectful. I'm not reading any posts that tell me to get good, because I can almost guarantee that no one here has soloed the Four Kings on NG+4 with a dex/faith build. Here we go: What is this Swarm Grenade glitch? If you are truly out of tune with the goings-on of Destiny, there is a current oversight in game coding that ultimately allows hunters running Swarm grenades with armor that has the Ashes to Asset perk to instantly fill their super. By definition, this is not a glitch. Rather, this is an unintended oversight, most likely in the coding of the hunter's swarm grenades. The perks count towards the issue, but are not the underlying cause of it. Is this form of play bannable? I understand that, like many things in this unbalanced game, this issue is purely an oversight. The issue, when performed properly, gives the user an unfair advantage in competitive play, and in intensive games like Trials of Osiris, where you can't afford to lose, it can be defined as such. Regardless of interpretation, the abuse of this oversight is by definition cheating. Can I be banned for using this? I can't directly answer that factually, but the answer is more than likely to be yes, as it meddles with the fairness of competitive multiplayer and is regarded as technical abuse. Bungie is always monitoring these games, so whether they decide abusing this issue is ban worthy is up to them. If DeeJ or irk were to bring this up in a Weekly update and mention that it is unintended, then abusing this oversight WILL result in a ban, especially if used in trials. Does that mean it's fair game to use until DeeJ mentions it? Of course not, you twit. You can use it, but the record of you performing the action will be documented, and may result in a ban. How do I avoid this issue if Swarm Grenades are my go-to explosive? As I've never done this before myself, all I can say is to avoid wearing the armor that contains the Ashes to Asset perk. If you can't avoid that, try the other two grenades. If you have any other concerns, post below. I hope this helps. EDIT: I will be changing the content of this post so that it will be easier to understand for people who decide to skip straight to the comments. I will also change content to correct any falsities. I'm in class right now so I'll fix it in about 3 hours.
