MMO'S are the most successful genre in all of the video game industry.

Yeah, tell that to defiance, and the surplus of other dead MMOs stuck in the shadow of FF and WoW.

No MMO is going to have the population of WoW. That is a unique situation. But there are many, many MMO'S out there, and they're doing just fine. In fact, they're doing better than any other genre in video games. Just because they don't have WoW's numbers, doesn't mean that they're dead. Archeage LotRO RIFT TESO World of Tanks All are holding populations that dwarf little upstarts like Destiny, even if they don't have WoW numbers.
