yet another elitist who cannot see the bigger picture and only looks out for themselves,
A quick view of your profile indicates a lower grimoire then I, no distinguished clan to be associated with, and posting history indicating you are more the elitist then I. It's all fine and dandy to say something, but don't think you can sound so correct when you don't know anything about me.
we of the optional mm community only desire the option to use mm or a in game lfg system or a system like this one https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/129939506/0/0, you would in no way suffer from it unless you use it
There is no "we" you speak of. I understand you want Optional matchmaking. I have already explained this piece in another thread, but I'll link it here for you. Lastly. I have been around the block more times then I care to admit to and my experience? Tells me this:
Matchmaking as it stands right now is built around getting people into the CONVERSATION of doing other things. During the early days of VoG, people literally messaged each other if someone wanted to do VoG. It's how I got most of my completions over 50+ before Crotas End came out. I still get invites for VoG people, still complete it with them, and why is that? Because the players going into it don't expect to be carried without a mic. Or know to be communicating about the minotaur locations. Or oracle center mid has spawned randomly. Or that the gatekeeper is moving towards their backside. So no. People who want to do raids will find ways to do raids. That AUTOMATICALLY separates those who are willing to complete the hard challenges of multi-tasking many groups I've been involved in couldn't do it and yes. I called the raids. Told them to get us to orbit. This has been a fundamental philosophy surrounding raids in ANY game: Not everyone is expected or capable to complete them. Same as nightfalls. How many Halo players tried to do every mission LASO? How many? Here's the correct answer in ANY Halo game: 7.3% for Halo 3. How many actually completed? 2%. People who want to do nightfalls will find the means to do nightfalls based on the difficulties presented in the raids, nightfalls, and PoE ratings.
I am sorry you want that solution above. Sorry that I know it can't work both in terms of networking creating new error codes for people to be booted primarily based on the router and server connections on the end user level as well as the second reason that you are advancing AFCers, lag switchers, and other forms of intentional or non-intentional cheating. I am looking for the solutions. Right now? That means people who actually WANT to do a raid? Will find the means to do the raid. 35 PoE? They will FIND a way through the many resources available to play that. This is actually something that Mike Rowe recently spoke about. I get that you feel otherwise most likely, but I think you should read this because you are VERY much sounding like you are spoiled: http://www.tpnn.com/2015/02/08/mike-rowe-weighs-in-on-the-demand-for-a-minimum-wage-increase-in-a-way-that-only-he-can/ Now switch out the topic of minimum wage with your advocacy of Optional matchmaking or matchmaking anything in general with the simple question of: Am I sounding like that article? Do I sound entitled? If you answer yes? Simply change that. We don't need more of that. I simply need a good conversation. Take it easy kiddo.
