My reasoning for this is because there is really no reason to make only one of anything available per account instead of per character.
I like to use the same emblem on all of my characters and would like to be able to do that without having to unequipped the emblem and transfer it over to my other character every time I switch to the other character. It takes to much time out of the time I able to play.
Some of the shaders look cool and I would like to be able to use them on all of my characters without equipping them and transferring them over every time I switch characters. This only adds to the time taken away from me.
Overall, its not like its harming anything. If I want to use something on all of my characters, I'm still able to transfer if over to my other characters through my vault. It is only aggravating and time consuming.
It's also not like I'm able to use more than one at a time.
I'm not able to have two emblems at once or even have two rocket launchers equipped at once. If I receive one that I don't want, all I have to do is dismantle it like all of the rare gear that my inventory gets full of.
The most of all, it is an aesthetic. The one thing this game needs to improve is its promise to be able to fully customize the look of their character without changing their gears abilities. The inability to not have a shader is only going to worsen this cause because at this time, it is the only thing available to change the look of a guardian's gear without changing the abilities of the armor.
My examples of these items is the Queen's Web shader (from the hard to complete 35 PoE), the Kellbreaker Emblem (from the hard to complete 35 PoE), the Eris Morn emblem, and the Paladin's Blazon emblem.
If Bungie could please take note of this, it would greatly improve the gaming experience. Even if the emblem or shader from the PoE were not guaranteed to get, adding it to the loot table for other characters to get would be a great fix.
