Lighthouse for everyone
If I payed for the content I should be able to go there I feel that it should just be available or at least easier to obtain pve players really get nothing for doing skolas every week compared to what the "real players" get pvp is the stupidest aspect of this game
Edit1: if they don't nerf the lighthouse or give it to everyone then everyone should get a refund

3 RepliesWell not for everyone but I think they should think of a way for PvE ONLY players to get access to the lighthouse which might be Defeat Skolas 9 times before the weekly reset or to make it a bit more challenging make it that you must complete NF, CE Hard, VoG Hard, and all 4 PoE with Skolas needing to be beaten 4-6 times and with that grant you access to the lighthouse I think that would be fun. If anyone has a better way to challenge PvE Players for they can get access to the lighthouse post it maybe Bungie will listen.

Treasure room is the same exact thing bud.. Except the treasure room is better because you can keep opening the chests for gear (yes exotics can drop from the chest) So why u cri?

All pvp players who can't get the skolas shader and emblem should be given it upon completion of a passage. Also pvp players should be given the PoE exotic bounties just for trying. Does That make sense? No? Because it -blam!-in shouldn't

You can get there. Its on the disc. You have to play pvp. If you dont like it you dont go. Its like saying you wana fight dr robotnik but cant get past greenhill zone act 1

1 ReplySo you really need the emblem? For what? The shader? For what? The elemental primary? For what? I don't care if I ever grace the lighthouse, I've got plenty of those things as it is. Practice in the crucible on 3v3 until you are good enough if it means that much to you ;))

Hmm when H.O.W dropped where in the description did it say you were granted full access to the light house? Because you're telling me you paid to go to the light house but I don't see anything that says you did. You paid for the House of wolves DLC and a chance at everything it features no where did it say everything is guaranteed. If you can't make it to the lighthouse that is your problem , you want the house? Then demonstrate your power in PVP and stop crying.

You paid for the ability to access to the content. You didn't pay for instant access to content you didn't reach/earn. Maybe bungie should just give every one all the exotics and legendaries and all the rewards available as soon as they start the game? That would be fun, huh?

I play both aspects of this game, and I 100%, completely and absolutely disagree with you. The rewards for Skolas aren't enticing, so I don't do it. I can get everything I want from the 34, so that's where I draw the line. But opening the Lighthouse to everybody. Hell no! Earn your way there, or gtfo. [spoiler]And by "earned", that can mean carried, cheated, whatever. You can get there, I know it. [/spoiler]

1 ReplyAnother one of these threads... when u buy a game do u want the campaign completed for u? Cuz im not into that. I like that the lighthouse is exclusive to the elite players. It feels like true accomplishment when u do it. Wearing that emblem brings a certain amount of pride when u wear it. U still have access to the weekly weapon and gold package. Some people arent good enough to get to the lighthouse. Thats that. If ur one of them thats totally fine but Plz stop putting threads like this up. Poe guns need a buff. Thats for sure. But dont go after the lighthouse because of it. We all have a chance to get to the lighthouse. Some of us will, some of us wont.

Under those terms you unknowingly agreed to comply with Bungie's circumstances and how they want the game played. Btw this content that you seemingly can't get, is because it is endgame content. My advice is to wait until after the DLC is released to know what you are buying. :) [spoiler]I don't want this to sound mean. For PvP being the "stupidest aspect of the game"...you see to really want the PvP rewards. The lighthouse isn't that special. It's a glorified reward screen...you go there...open the reward chest, and get blinded by the sun (it's really bright)...then leave. Don't know why people are getting all uptight about it.
