Even though no one likes him you have to admit his idea for getting people to watch his videos is smart. He does his egotistical crap and we watch his videos so we can trash him in context. It's smart but it won't work long term if you want viewers spacehii.

It attracts the wrong kind of attention though, he predominantly only gets negative feedback so I'd argue his tactics failed miserably. The views don't mean anything when you get a ton more dislikes than like.
