The game stopped dropping this bounty for me. I have had the bounties for the other weapons drop at least 10 times. The pocket infinity isn't ever with it. It has even dropped me down to 3 choices like its a glitch or something.

I've only ever had 3 choices , always the same 3. Pocket infinity is the only one I never get. I think it's after 30 bounties you get and exotic bounty. Hopefully I get it soon.

I receive a few Vanguard Mentor Missives per week, and the exotic bounty for the Pocket Infinity has been available only once to me so far. As for the weapon, it's sort of nice, but it seems to have more recoil than any gun in the game. Also, this is a very expensive bounty. Depending on your circumstances, be prepared to spend 10,000 - 20,000 glimmer for the fusion rifles, special ammo, and weapon upgrades.

I learned that the bounties are RNG. The first exotic bounty I got didn't have thorn. It had bad juju (the one I chose), pocket infinity, or super good advice.

They are not RNG at all. You just aren't completing enough bounties.
