This is to address Anidien the mentor's comment about auto rifles
This wrong. Every auto rifle has a slower TTK in crucible than most other weapons. In PvE it takes almost 1/5 of a magazine to kill most tier 1 enemies when with my fatebringer it is 1/13 of a magazine. Auto rifles are completely outmatched my any other weapon in PVE and pvp. Auto rifles don't do enough damage no matter which one you are using whether in PVE or PVP. How about you guys show us another post of weapon usage statistics or are you too embarrassed. I bet auto rifles are used as much as pulse rifles the last time that you showed us the weapon usage statistics. I bet auto rifles are now the least used type of weapon in PVE and PVP by now. They are simply outclassed in every way by any other type of primary weapon

Someone actually made a post with weapon usage stats. Surprisingly autos were used more than pulses and scouts by a large margin.

No shit inspect a team if anyones usin an auto rifle everyone in the partys says "wtf is this guy thinking? Hes using atheons epilogoue" & i secretly think -blam!-... Hes either really really good or really really dumb usin that .... I love auto rifles but in this game theyre utter suicide unless ur cheesin around on patrol ... Sad too i just re rolled my silimars wrath n got persistence /high caliber/& 3rd eye what a beast it couldve been ... Ive gotten some amazing auto rolls since the dlc but they all sit in the vault hoping for bungie to fix

No, they're not. They have a shorter range than before and you have to be accurate, you can't just spray and pray. Maybe you just don't know how to use them?

I know how to use auto rifles. They were my go to before the nerf. I find myself having to work much harder to get auto rifle kills in PVP and the TTK is very bad and all auto rifles are easily beaten in the crucible by pulse, handcannon, and even scout rifles. In PVE I can kill a servitor with one fatebringer mag at all sorts of ranges. With an auto rifle at close to mid range it usually takes one mag and a half of no misses to bring it down to 1/4 health. Even before the auto rifle nerf, auto rifles weren't very good in PVE and couldn't bring enough damage compared to other weapons. Now I wouldn't even think of using abyss defiant or atheons epilogue or even Suros in PVE as the damage output is sad. It is outclassed by other weapons in PVE and PVP. In PVP if an equally skilled auto rifle user faced an equally skilled pulse or handcannon users, most of the time the pulse or handcannon user would win the fight
