i thought ESO was gonna kill Destiny?

It's a cheap imitation elder scrolls.. that looks super dated and puts kids to sleep.

Because ESO is more of an mmo than Destiny is and because of that ESO probably has more grinding and repetitiveness than Destiny ever will.

Just a bunch of trolls who always post that the next big game is going to kill Destiny since they like to think no one can play multiple games. Lmao. I'm trying to balance ESO and Destiny myself. xD

Regardless won't kill destiny, lack of new content continued repeated content will slowly kill destiny but even then not much else comming out that looks that great so people will continue to play.

I'll be playing them both . I'm just glad that we are slowly building a collection of fun games to play . The more the better.

A friend of mine couldn't get on ESO yesterday since the servers were being worked on. But some other friends were playing it since I guess ESO servers keep you on if you were online before maintenance starts. But yeah I didn't get into the Elder Scrolls games. Plus I heard ESO takes up a crapload of space on the hard drive.

Yes it is it's been out for two days. 3/4 of my friends list which consists of 54 people have moved to ESO. I would have left to but, ESO is not my type of game, you also need to realize that if we are lucky only 10% of people who play Destiny actually post on these forums.

You want to know what the only thing that killed CoD was? CoD. They kept trying to innovate instead of perfecting the game. Instead of making great maps like they had in BO1 & BO2 and taking out garbage items to make for smoother play, they kept trying to do other things to compete with other franchises. WHY try to compete with people below you? Compete with yourself. Improve upon yourself! "Oh, lets make huge maps like Battlefield, except keep it to 6 v 6." "Oh, lets make boring killstreaks but seem awesome because they are futuristic." "Oh, lets have everyone jumping around everywhere and abosolutely kill map flow! That will bring them back!" In the same way, Destiny is the only thing that can kill Destiny. HoW is a good example. I was initially excited, but after finding out how boring PoE is and how bad the drop rate for Etheric Light is... other than playing Iron Banner last week, I have hardly put any time in. If Bungie just keeps making story mission in the exact same maps we already have (except in the opposite direction to make it look new) and can't create a new enemy or something fresh, that is what will kill Destiny. Give us another Vault of Glass. You want to keep people interested, legitimately improve and add to your game. Don't keep re-using what you have and try to "innovate" away from the winning formula. That $40 Taken King DLC better have a new planet or a completely new part of a couple of planets or this game with surely die, and absolutely not because some other game came out that was better.
