When does that kick in. People keep telling me to "get good", but I'm still as bad as ever. Maybe telling people to get good doesn't work?

If someone told me to "get good" I would take that to the heart and become nasty... No other option if you ask me.... Play we good players and you get better your self

I always play against people who are better than me, that's why I keep dying. I'd rather die a billion times and never see the lighthouse than get carried to 9. That's probably what's going to happen.

I'm saying play with people that are good and you will get better as well....as in on your team! And watch some montages on YouTube of people playing crucible and what not lol

Everyone I know is better than me, that's my main problem. It doesn't bother me though, sometimes I have really good games, but mostly, they're less than average. I don't care though, my friends don't care about the win, as long as we have a laugh. They do the killing, I do the capping and the dying. I'm happy to throw myself in front of bullets to save innocent lives, who are better than me. I don't play it enough to get good, I'd be happy to get decent. Ha ha.

It's all down to reaction and quick, precision aiming, I used to do ok on CoD a few years back but now I'm in my mid thirties I just don't seem to be able to do as well these days. Best I've done in trials is 7-3 and the last 2 weeks have been maps I hate

I think you may be right. I'm in my thirties too, and I don't think I'm as good as I used to be. That's why I keep getting killed by 12 year olds. That's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it. I've had so many pairs of digital balls on my face, I'm starting to think my character might be gay.

It definitely gets harder as the years go by, I used to think it was lag until I realised it just happens too often, not even getting a shot off sometimes before you get sniped in the face

Ha ha ha. I'm with you, I stopped blaming lag years ago. Ha ha. Now I blame twelve year olds. My friends five year old son joined me and headshot everything he laid eyes on with his last word. He got me killed twice because I was watching him in amazement. He then went 33 for 3 in IB with a level 26 character. I've never killed more than 23, or had a KD higher than 2.0. At least we know how to spell and punctuate. Ha ha.

5?? Makes you feel even older. I've got friends who's kids are now 18 and I can remember playing football with them when they struggled to even have the coordination to catch the ball.

Ha ha, I reckon I could still beat him at football, in a foot race or a boxing match. Not for long though. The older I get, the more coordinated and younger they seem to get. I saw a video on YouTube of a one year old kid watching videos on his dads phone and changing the channels, I'm not going to be able to compete with that kid by the time he's three, and we're the generation that gave them gaming. We should be much better than them after thirty years of practice.
