Hahaha.......this is so funny. I knew that once the first weeks of Trials happened , that the player base would fall away. Most people who play PvE a lot, like myself found Trials too frustrating after a few games and moved on. That's why week after week people who went flawless are having a more difficult time. This will continue until the small group who play it who in fact are really good are left fighting each other with a 50 percent chance of winning. Maybe this is what Bungle wanted, but with the bone throwing of Elimination mode, they see the problem as well.

  • I don't see the same issue. Lots of people are still playing hard for the gear. Everyone wants the helmet so it will be very active this weekend. Of course people will fall off after a while, it happens with any game. It's a downhill slope until the next DLC. The only change I can see them making towards trials is matching lighthouse people together to slightly lower the difficulty.

  • I see your point but I think the fall off has been much greater than they anticipated. Trials is not my cup of tea. But I understand why some line it. But the Elimination mode was a suspicious, "don't get frustrated, give it another try, here is a practice mode" move on Bungles part. They watch the data and numbers closely.

  • This whole "you'll never play the same team twice" thing is gonna go downhill when there are only two teams left playing...

  • Last week I faced the exact same team 3 times in a row and the same with a couple other teams facing them twice in a row or 3 times in a row. I felt bad though because we would win the first game and get matched again and know their play style and they would know ours so we had to switch it up or just rush them because they were apprehensive about our team. Beatin the same team 3 times and sending them back to the reef felt a bit harsh but well everyone's trying to go flawless and you gotta show no mercy

  • Yes, so true. Was discussing this topic the other day, player participation and falloff from the trials. It's going to happen. I've got clan mates, like myself, thinking about hitting the trials. They unfortunately have had trouble pulling a team due to the pvp contingent grouping up to go flawless. This will continue, eventually the trials will show low participation and be "tweaked" to attract more players.

  • I tried it one time when it first came out while I was still 32. Lost bad and never did it again. Said to myself I'm not coming back until I'm 34 with 365 weapons. Now I'm thinking wait until the top people loose interest so I can face even matched teams.

  • I'm not playing it more than an hour or so a weekend again, it's not fun to constantly face top-tier PvP teams.
