I actually enjoy stopping people from getting their flawless. Part of what makes trials fun after getting flawless lol

  • This, love the sight of a team which got stomped 5-0 and the little "found completed trials passage" shows up at the bottom. Feels good man.

  • This guy is what's wrong with destiny, not to mention he's an asshole

  • I would argue the other way round, you are what's wrong with Destiny and the entitlement culture in this community. So long as he's not breaking the rules and playing in good competitive spirit, there is nothing wrong with trying to break other people's flawless runs. After all, the whole damn point of trials is a competitive PvP experience, with skill based rewards. What's the f'ing point if all the best players get one flawless and stop? By Sunday it would be free pickings for anybody regardless of how bad they are at PvP to get free adept loot. By Monday you'd be able to go flawless blindfolded.

  • If motivation counts for anything, then this guy is playing for spite more than any kind of "good competitive spirit." But whatever. This community wouldn't be what it is if not for spite.

  • I'd say playing to win and playing to try and be better than others is "good competitive spirit." But it's personally opinion really, I see no issue with it.

  • Eh. There's a distinction between playing for your own wins and then playing simply to deny others theirs, and the original comment to which you've replied makes that clear enough. Dress it up however you want, though. Not as if it matters to you, to me, or even to him.

Why should you get the easy way out, I put in a lot of time on crucible. I see you don't play it much. So why should get the best Pvp rewards in the game when you don't play. Earn it. Get better then you can take on good teams

  • Not saying you should give out wins, I don't agree with that. Just saying if your that good why not help others instead? ,I can't tell you how many times I've been through raids and not gotten anything, only doing it to help others that's the difference between the pvp players and pve players that I've been seeing , we help each other while pvp guys only look out for themselves. And no I don't play much pvp though I do enjoy it,I don't have friends that like it so I play solo

  • That he likes to play trials no matter if it's for rewards or not and he limes to be competitive. Like if your trying for flawless and you win a match and see the other team completed there trials passage you feel bad?

  • Tell you what, all of you players that went flawless, can just play each other. Those that love the fight congratulations you got one now... those that love trolling can eat a bag #$&!

  • Great point, way to point out nothing useful. See that's salty and true, while yours is just attention whoring with nothing to add. Really though a tiered sytem where winners only fought other winners would be great. Then the lighthouse might even mean something being you fought your way to the top of other skilled opponents. As it stands now it's glorified pub stomping and trolling of highly skilled teams wasting unskilled teams nine times.

  • Not really when most unskilled players I know are to scared to step foot into trials. But most games I play are pretty close not to often do we wipe a team 5 nothing but it does happen maybe 2 out of nine games but if what you say is true I'm sure you have been to the lighthouse three times each week correct?

  • Great job not adressing a single point I said and sinking to a pointless personal attack. You talk about players being too scared but something tells me if winning teams only fought other winners you would have titanic epic battles (or lag switching jack'olopes). Now true going to the light house would be nearly 10 times harder but if all the snowflakes are so damn special lets see what you really got. It's not like in any other championship you see the champions stomping over a JV team then declaring "Well you should have just tried harder, it was a good clean fight but my team highly trained Spartans in the prime of there life is fair match agaist Ms. Flowers 7th grade peewee class." There is no logical defense to just stomping less skilled teams other then your a prick who can't win in a fair fight.

  • Agreed, I mean I haven't gone to lighthouse and I would LOVE to get free wins to get there, but honestly I enjoy just playing them, even if I don't get anywhere. Trials is nice spin on PVP where we get iron banner modifiers every week, I think it's legit.

When you find the right team you'll get there it's a big part of it your chemistry together you gotta be able to play off each others playstyle what I suggest is when your on a roll like 5-0 card go buy the 2 buff if you win the next one your at 7-0 and you can loose once and still only need 2 wins to go flawless and if you buy the first buff technically you would only have to go 6-1 and you there
