Trials of Osiris Tips

Here I'll really just talk about good weapons that I've seen or used before for Trials. If you see anything that should be included go ahead and make a reply. Primary Weapon: Obviously the Thorn is an option. It might be OP to you or maybe not, but you can't deny the fact that the least bullets it takes to kill someone is 2 to the head. It has amazing range, aka sniper if you know what I mean, easily controlled recoil, good fire rate, and a defensive weapon. You shoot someone with a Thorn once and most of the time the player will back off due to it's damage over time. Just a few days ago, I saw my friend rocking this scout rifle, unsure what it was called, but I guess it hard a perk that staggered people whoever he shot and worked very well against snipers. As long as he got the first shot the sniper couldn't kill him due to him recoiling and usually died. I'm guessing scout rifles with the stagger perk seem to work really well with dealing with snipers. Last Word is another viable weapon. It works extremely well in close range combat, especially if you're able to pull of head shots with it's recoil. Also, I've seen people be able to use it from a medium range distance. Red Death to me is a counter for Thorn, but doesn't work all the time. The only good thing I've seen from the Red Death is whenever you face against a Thorn, as long as you kill the wielder you won't die by it's lingering damage. But, I could be completely wrong. Maybe to you the Red Death isn't really a good pvp weapon or maybe I'm not giving it enough credit. Special Weapons: Snipers in general. I'm not going to name any specific ones just use whatever you feel you do best with. But of course there are snipers with last round which can and will one shot you with it's last round. Be careful because I've seen crazy experienced snipers out there who can turn the tide of a battle. These three shotguns, my opinion, are the best. There's the matador 64, felwinter's lie, and the party crasher +1. Preferably I use the matador (even though I haven't really tried the other two lol). Sometimes I've surprised myself with the kill I just got from that far away. It's a good weapon to have and to sneak up or rush, whichever you prefer, to snipers and take them out. Also, the other two work the same way. Honestly I don't think there is a better shotgun here it's just whichever you favor the most. Heavy Weapons: The truth is where you seek it. Obviously the Truth is an amazing rocket launcher for pvp even the best in my opinion. At the beginning of every heavy ammo around or at the end of last round I quickly switch my primary weapon to a legendary so I can put the Truth on. I admit I love the Truth. I it has velocity, it aggressively seeks its targets, and can lock on. With the Truth I only need to tap the left trigger to aim down sight and it immediately locks on which I quickly shoot my target. Also I believe is blows up when close to someone, can't remember. Not many people can escape especially warlocks who sometimes are just floating there for an unknown reason. If I see someone in the air I quickly lock on and shoot at them and usually they end up dying. Of course the Truth isn't the only viable option. There's also the radagast fury, dream waker, tomorrow's answer, and some other rocket launchers. Sorry if I misspelled any of that. But personally in my opinion I prefer the Truth. Sorry, but in my opinion I would never use a machine gun. I'm not hating on it because I admit I've died by them a few times, but to me it seems risky whenever someones has a rocket launcher pointing at you and all you've got is a machine gun. This is what I think people should run for Trials, but I could be wrong as I've said before. It also depends on the map that you're playing on and the strategy you're team is going with. If there's anything you think I missed or should be added reply down below so other people can know.
