[PVP] What is the best sniper and perks for it? [PVP]
Throughout the years on virtually any FPS I have dominated with snipers. Destiny is a different story. Mostly because I really enjoy the gun play with hand cannons and it pulls me away from sniping. Nevertheless I want to get hardcore into sniping in Destiny and I feel like whats holding me back is the lack of a good sniper.

It is considered a tier 1 sniper with the 2nd highest aim assist of the bunch. Not sure it's available, however if it still drops, it's a TDB weapon (was also sold by Crucible vendor, but no longer available from him), so it's NOT re-rollable; you're stuck with whatever perks it happens to come with with. Your best bet is still Low Grade Humility and rolling Injection Mold/Quickdraw/Snapshot (depending on your preference), Hidden Hand, and Unflinching.

Longbow Synthesis. Good aim assist, five round mag, can shoot through revive shields. It has bad handling though so run snapshot or Bladedancer's quickdraw. For scopes, nothing beats the Shortgaze

They are going to tell you to grab a sniper with stupid high aim assist and perks that bump it up even more. Great if you want your hand held while sniping but if you're a hardcore sniper as you say I'd hoped you would stray away from the crutch of needing it as most people in this forum do. Hell my one sniper has a perk that decreases grenade cool down and I manage to do just fine with it. Perks such as hidden hand are for people who have never picked up a sniper but still want to snipe. Unflinching is for people who aren't decent enough to get a shot off first or can't correct their aim after getting shot (which is sad, I mean come on it jumps like a millimeter and keeps you zoomed in how much more help do you people need.) Snapshot is useless unless you're trying to quickscope like an idiot. The one that let's you draw the wep faster might be nice.

Well, I have a Final Boss with Armor Piercing and Final Round as it's only good perks. I'd say that's pretty good, but I'm not one for abusing the Final Round, though.

The Prudence II from TDB is a pretty good sniper for pvp.

Must have perks are: Slot 1: Hidden Hand (This weapon gains better target acquisition); Slot 2: Injection Mold (Increased stability, faster handling, reduced range), Quickdraw (This weapon can be drawn unbelievably fast) or Snapshot (Aiming this weapon is incredibly fast); Slot 3: Unflinching (It's easier to aim under fire using this weapon) Her Benevolence is decent due to its re-rollability, but other than that's it's a little below the above snipers.

Longbow Synthesis has my vote ! Besides that; LDR, Praedthys revenge, and Her Benevolence are great choices as well imo :D
