Having clan/group members in your friends list is about as in game as it gets.
Many players join groups on here then just expect the rest to happen by magic. You actually have to add people to your friends list on your console.
Also companion apps are part of every major game now. Its not hard to have you phone next to you so you can transfer item's.

Also I had over 400+ hours logged into this game. Believe me, I have deleted over 200 people from my friends list total because you play with them once or twice and that's it. It's a broken system

I don't sport a neckbeard, and on principle alone I won't join any kind of "clan." I am a part of real clubs that meet up in real life (sports). I work. I go to college. I enjoy having sexual relations with women. All of those things require time and energy. When I want to power up the system and boogey, I want to power up the system and boogey. Don't wanna be diddle-daddling around wasting time on forums and vetting/being vetted. I have friends I have made in other games still on my friends list that have been there for years. All made via matchmaking. Computers and programs are supposed to make life easier, not more complicated.

Edited by Hoops: 6/9/2015 11:23:28 PMThats my point you don't have to. If your in an active group you simply turn your console on, start up the game and join your clan/group members games. There is no need to use forums.

Well your point is invalid because I don't want to join a group. That's MY point. It didn't say "become legendary with a clan" on the box. And as such, I should still have direct access to other like-minded players. Give me 1 other experienced raider--give me Evil Genius, and we can carry 4 people to victory on VoG or Crota. Every time.

every major game? expalin please :) there are next gen consoles now meaning you can do more, so why have us go out of the game to play the game? maybe because they have no content and to pro long gameplay they put barriers. the catch is the only sense of achievement is being the highest level. witch just means more grinding..... your saying it is now expeted of us to have a PC/cell phone before we can buy a console to play games. unless you have a lot of money that is not easy to do especially with the state of the world being what it is right now(Really horrible) that is a lot to expect. unreasonable to most.

Edited by Hoops: 6/9/2015 11:01:50 PMIt just doesn't make sense to me how people have no problem using the app/website to complain but make excuses when asked to use it to join a group. Why not use that energy to solve the problem yourself rather than complaining about it. I think that makes sense. You only need to use the app to join a group, the rest is done on your console, do you understand that?

you sound just like Deej. to go online and form a group takes time. why? because i might not have a gallyhorn or be the right level meaning i must waste 15 to 30 mins looking for a group then have enough time to do said activity before i have to get back to my actual life. games are for fun. not to work some more have a challenge in that sense. these are next gen consoles they are going backwards depending on other devices to play the game. every one says this is a huge issue even Forbes and other websites. what about those that are deaf? did bungie take into consideration those disabilities? no because they did not provide a chat box in game or a mic(beginning of game). if there philosophy is truly about the challenge why do we have MM at all to begin with? lol

It takes less time than you have spent talking with me.

Major games that use companion apps to form groups are battlefield, cod, every big mmo, gta v. I could go on. Your console has a Web browser too. There is really no excuse other than most refuse to accept that they are not casual players anymore and would rather complain than solve their own problems.
