Shut up about matchmaking for endgame activities. Bungie wants end game activities to require teamwork and communication. You don't get that through matchmaking. This is why matchmaking for raids, trials and prison pf elders won't be implemented. Because it is not needed and it is not how bungie wants it to be played.

Don't you get it? The reason they won't implement matchmaking is because it's their clever way of marketing the damned game. "Spread the word!" "Gather your friends and form a fireteam!" It's their way of saying that they know the game is challenging so you better seek out other people to form a damned team. This isn't them fulfilling or staying true to some noble philosophy. It's just greed. Not to mention all the egotistical no-life elitism going around in LFG. You'd think they'd already be working on implementing it. But no, it's because they don't give a shit if it's earning them advertisement through gamers like us. Open your eyes.

  • It's clear you don't understand why they do this, why they insist on omitting matchmaking from endgame content. No it's got nothing to do with teamwork and communication, so get over yourself and get over the idea of playing Destiny the way they intend for you to play it. This is not some noble cause you're fulfilling, it's much less noble a reasoning than that. The reason they insist on fireteams is because it hits a very simple marketing model. If you want access to endgame content then you cannot do it alone. This way you are more likely to emplore a friend or multiple friends to also buy Destiny in order to facilitate your goal of getting endgame content. That's not just one copy of Destiny sold, it's the sale to you and potentially others you know. That's all it is; that's why there's no matchmaking in certain activities. It's not for some noble cause of communication, teamwork or warming the hearts of Bungie employees by playing how they envisioned you would -- it's simply to sell more copies of their game. To not understand that is blind and unintelligent.

  • The only reason is that people should stuck for a longer time I this game. The same to all Ninja nerfs. But this could be a boomerang. Why not join a fireteam who didn't play Destiny?

  • The randoms I needed to add are that, randoms. With no in-game clan or chat or team building initiative. There is just a randomly generated friends list on my XB1 that doesn't feel like a deep friendship.
