I signed up in 2000 during the election. I've been in a while and came to the conclusion that ultimately you "fight" /serve for your country not the POTUS. Never seen him or any elected leader. Only the officers/NCO's appointed over me. Depending on who leads in the executive branch the military experiences massive or minor nerfs/buffs. In the end i singed up for the country and a future for myself and family, not president bush or president obama
