Streaming is ok in my book. I donate to a streamer every now and again but he's an actual friend of mine. He doesn't ask for money, people just donate because they feel like they want to or should. It does really piss me off when a streamer sets up a donation fund though. Like the old "I need 500 bucks for a new video card" or, "Donate 300$ and I'll do some stupid ass cosplay" and "help me get 1000$ so I can go to PAX!" Asking for money for things like that are just stupid. Unless I actually know the person IRL, I would probably never donate or subscribe to a chanel. Some of these streamers seem like very cool, chill people but the fact is we do not really know them. We aren't actually "friends". These people would never ever give me money or have my back in any way shape or form. But we all earn our money and have the right to spend and waste it as we see fit. To each his own I guess.
