People Who Stream For Money Are Ruining The Gaming Community
If you stream for money shame on you. Gaming should be a hobby not a job. You people begging for money make me sick. I don't know what's worse the people streaming for money or the idiots who donate to them?
While you're sitting on your ass fighting aliens you have little kids fighting cancer. Shame on you...

They're not people they are creatures. The kind that stand behind you in a que at a shop and make you want to hold your breath as to not inhale their vibe.

Don't feel too bad, they have to put in an insurmountable amount of time to make the money they make compared to the equivalent job . the amount of hours you have to put in the streaming to me is just not worth it its not worth being able to live your life the way you want.

There's no way to counter that fact as providing service for cash is in fact a job. You dislike it oh well, cuz so many people do it reguardless. FYI: there's plenty of hobbies that can be a job. Good day as I'll not argue and leave it at that.

Streaming is ok in my book. I donate to a streamer every now and again but he's an actual friend of mine. He doesn't ask for money, people just donate because they feel like they want to or should. It does really piss me off when a streamer sets up a donation fund though. Like the old "I need 500 bucks for a new video card" or, "Donate 300$ and I'll do some stupid ass cosplay" and "help me get 1000$ so I can go to PAX!" Asking for money for things like that are just stupid. Unless I actually know the person IRL, I would probably never donate or subscribe to a chanel. Some of these streamers seem like very cool, chill people but the fact is we do not really know them. We aren't actually "friends". These people would never ever give me money or have my back in any way shape or form. But we all earn our money and have the right to spend and waste it as we see fit. To each his own I guess.

And all those NBA, NFL, and so on are just the same. It is entertainment, just like movies and books. People enjoy watching others play games that they themselves could just go out and play. It doesn't make them bad people or really affect you in any way. Don't watch them or donate. If other people want to pay for overpriced tickets to games or donate to someone who just soloed Skolas, let them. Or you can go cure cancer and save everyone the hassle. Chin up guardian.

First of the comparison doesn't even make sense.... Second, a lot of the streamers do long streams to raise money for various charities. A few of the top streamers actually got started this way.

But I haven't met a streamer who asks, much less begs for money. Also they're basically entertainers cause most people watch them for the personality playing more than the actual game. Also I don't see how you can compare them to kids with cancer. That's just stupid.
