People Who Stream For Money Are Ruining The Gaming Community
If you stream for money shame on you. Gaming should be a hobby not a job. You people begging for money make me sick. I don't know what's worse the people streaming for money or the idiots who donate to them?
While you're sitting on your ass fighting aliens you have little kids fighting cancer. Shame on you...

Scrap post, all streamers stream because they enjoy it. Nobody starts a stream on Monday and is like ugh I hate my job. Streaming is their hobby and for some is their job.

IF they are begging for money then yes it is kind of sad. However, if they are just streaming, having fun, and enjoying themselves without asking for money but people still donate, then they are just making some quick cash from their hobby :) not sure if it makes sense, been a long day and I'm pretty much drained :p

Tell that to Pewdiepie and his sickeningly obnoxious personality that lands him $4,000,000 a year. If you're going to hate on a person's aspiring career, at least tell us why they're ruining your hobby. Most of them aren't begging for money, they're branching out. Don't get pissy because they figured out how to profit off doing something they love to do.

So you're telling me if you could make money playing video games regardless of what makes you entertaining, you wouldn't? It is obviously time consuming to stream or record videos, yes it's not demanding in other ways but so are many other jobs. It's not cool to actually ask for donations, but if it is for a new game people are asking to see, a better computer so you can do more for your followers, then i don't see the problem.

The people giving money and watchjng are the issue (if there must be an issue, but I don't think there is one.) Seriously. I personally find the concept of watching others game and PAYING to watch them game completely and utterly ridiculous BUT to each their own. Some guys suck dïck. I don't get it. I just find the streams hard to watch. Always flooded with obnoxious sounds the donations and subs make. You watch someone say the same stuff like "thanks for the sub welcome to the insert group name" and "Oh thanks for the donation insert username here." It's literally just spam that they respond to. Gets boring after a bit. Not saying what they do is wrong I just don't like the obnoxious spam caused by it all. It also forces usually funny people to just give fabricated empty statements every five -blam!-ing seconds.

No, it's negative people who ANY community. These people are entertainers, no different that watching a tv show. Little kids fighting cancer have nothing to do with this topic, they'd be fighting cancer whether or not someone streams video games for money.

Instead, they are a bunch of looser wanking in front of girl gamer, giving them money the same way someone would give to nude webcam girl. Before even knowing they were donating money, I already though they were looser to loose that much time looking at stranger playing a game instead of playing yourself! The only time I use twitch is to look at what kind of gameplay does a game has? And again, most of the time, it is boring because those player are noob and keep dying over and over... And they receive money for this. I told my girlfriend if she want to become rich, go buy a sexy outfit, an xbox one, tease those looser pretending you are drunk as -blam!- while playing any game you want and VOILA!
