People Who Stream For Money Are Ruining The Gaming Community
If you stream for money shame on you. Gaming should be a hobby not a job. You people begging for money make me sick. I don't know what's worse the people streaming for money or the idiots who donate to them?
While you're sitting on your ass fighting aliens you have little kids fighting cancer. Shame on you...

Squeakers be mad for days. People who stream provide entertainment to people who live a variety of lives. Some people care enough to support their favorite streamers and youtubers. Cry a river and drown in it.

Based on your post I have to assume you are 10 and you have cancer. I'm sorry that you feel the world is against you but someone playing games and getting paid for it does nothing to prevent researchers from investigating better cancer treatments. One day, hopefully soon, there will be a cure and the gamer guy will have done nothing to impede that.

1 ReplyWhy don't you go fight cancer then instead of complaining on a game forum like a baby back bitch? People don't just donate money to donate money. People donate because they are entertained by said "streamer" and in order to be entertaining, the said "streamer" has to invest a lot into himself, including time and money for equipment in which they require other jobs outside of just streaming to obtain. Microphones and sound boards for quality, A-1 internet as to not interrupt the stream, countless hours of time, a personality unlike yours and the ability to hold their tongue when people like you appear in chat. You don't even have to donate to a streamer to watch them...they could be doing it for free for months before they get a sub or donation or any money back towards their initial investment. It's weird that you're complaining about people who actually invest in themselves when there are strippers out there who get money literally thrown at them for simply walking around a pole showing their nips as if you don't see some every day when you look in the mirror. I smell a little jealousy.

And playing music is a hobby, let's slam all the musicians for making songs -_- It's pretty rare for streaming to become a full time job anyway, and if people are willing to give money, why not? They don't start their stream by saying let's get x amount of donations today. The only douches I've seen ask for money to go somewhere is streamers who are 17 odd years old because they're too lazy to reach into their own pocket...

How dare you pay for Internet and TV to entertain yourself. You could put that money towards fighting cancer. TV and Internet in no way provide a means of entertainment, you shouldn't pay for it your only supporting the isp. For the people that stream on twitch, you never have to subscribe , you never have to donate, but it is an option for those who feel like the entertainment shouldn't be free.

I have zero issue with it. They getting paid to play? Sweet they netted the holy grail job by doing something they love. Besides there are always streams for charity, sure there some money hungry cry babies out there banning people for being negative but that's a minority. Charity streams actually negate the negative image gamers have for being a drain on society. Especially when they make a shit ton of money. But people are only gonna watch these charity streams if there's people that are "famous" amongst gamers so streamers aren't exactly a bad thing.
