You don't need a Gjally to do PoE34. I did it this week with 3 level 33s and no Gjallys. It was hard, but doable.
(And since someone is bound to look at my profile...yes, I have a Gjally. I got it this week. From the NF on my second Titan. About an hour after completing PoE on my main)
