Why does everyone one jump on the nerf comment straight away, I quite clearly mentioned another solution. There needs to be more variation in this game! You enter the crucible it's Thorn, you enter (or try atleast) PoE, raids, it's Gjallarhorn. The addition of new weapons with specific roles that the play would really help. Maybe not so much the communities fault but definitely Bungie! Grats on the Gjallarhorn by the way.

People jump on the nerf comment for two reasons: 1) it immediately obscures and distracts from other alternatives that are presented, even though they have merit... Because 2) we've seen bungie be (overly) sensitive to calls for nerfs in the past that have ruined entire classes of guns , like ARs. I'm all for variation. Better accessibility to weapons is a vehicle to that variation. All nerfs do is bring guns to an even plane, thereby eliminating variations. Weapons need to feel different and have different strenghts or else why not just stick with the khostov. And thanks for the congratulations on my gally... the irony there is also one of the problems that weapon has. I wish I had a cool story of heroics to tell about how I got it, but I don't. There is no legend. I went into 28 PoE for the first time as a lvl 32 with all vendor gear that I scraped together and got it on the end roll. That's the problem. Weapons of power are arbitrarily locked from players. If bungie wants to make weapons and gear the stuff of legend, then the focus of those items should not be their power, it should be how they were acquired. Remember the first time you saw someone wearing chatterwhite? Remember how cool that was? Same concept applies here.
