6 a week if you have 3 characters, just from PoE.
Nightfall can drop it.
Iron Banner has guaranteed etheric light.
Trials of Osiris has etheric light drops as well.

In reality, that's only two a week per character, guaranteed, if you find able and competent teams for the PoE challenges. ToO and IB are PvP, and not many of us see any entertainment in the Crucible anymore.

Well that's not meaning there is a lack of etheric light. It just means you don't want to play the content to get them.

You choose not to use the ways given to you to get the reward. Crucible really isn't that stressful once you learn the maps........control the heavy ammo drops and control everything

It's not the maps that are an issue, it's the unknown variable that can be defined as the erratic player.

Once you learn the tendencies on a certain map though nothing is really erratic

This game should not be structured around the idea that everyone will be grinding out every potential source of it on all three characters every week. That's catering to a very specific crowd and it's beyond unfair. Nightfall drop rate is extremely low, so it's not even really a source. With Iron Banner I can buy two a month, because I'm not grinding to rank 5 on three characters. Two a month. That's terrible. Not everyone has the ability or the desire to play Trials. EL is virtually non-existent for some of us.
