Depending on when you started you only have yourself to blame. You do need to practice try skirmish as it is more like Osiris but I keep seeing plenty of people complaining that have been only Pve for months without touching pvp. If you didn't split your time earlier then the learning curve will take longer. Bungie isn't on your schedule.
They do need to implement some sort of skill based matching maybe passage progress

He clearly stated he did not have all day to play PVP....
-
You don't need all day you can do a few matches a day for a few weeks then try trials
-
Even then it won't help, it is not just skill, the cheaters, red bars etc. Plus you got ppl paying Streamers to run them 9-0 through Trials. There should be a bracket for toons that are 9-0 that way they are truly playing ppl there level and not just smashing 8 year old Timmy and Graveyard Dave with 4 kids.
-
Maybe make it so once you reach 9-0 for the week, you no longer go into normal trials, and have a mode that only opens once you've reached 9-0 (elite mode) and those players have exclusive rewards signifying that they did well in the elite mode. Note: I haven't played ToO, been too busy the first couple of weekends.

Yeah that's what I was saying
-
Good idea either way. Also it shouldn't weaken the 9-0 gear aquisition either, because even with those teams ascending, not too many others are likely to reach that stat. There will probably be more back and forth. (Winners with 2 losses at the end).

Edited by Kone19ps: 6/2/2015 5:56:51 PMWell I stated above there needs to be skill based matchmaking for it which would help people to a few wins and make the later rounds much more competitive. As for cheating I haven't seen any on ps4. Some very bad lag that almost cost us games but nothing we couldn't grenade spam around. Teamwork is paramount. You need to practice with people you want to play with. May not get flawless first try you'll get there eventually. The teams with the best communication wins. We stomped big clans easily because when something happens we don't need to think we know exactly what our teammates are about to do. One teammate sniped down and our rush usually ends it. All I can really say for advice is practice review streamers for their strategies and fin a team you mesh with well. The expansion just dropped you don't need to master trials right away

Edited by Kone19ps: 6/2/2015 4:19:47 PMThen my point still stands practice more and you'll get better slowly just means you need to wait a bit to progress in trials
