I believe so, my reasoning would be that we got some introductory story when we bought the game, it showed us the enemies and our ally's, then we got dlc for hive and fallen, both were kinda just filler, more info about those two factions. So I'd assume with September, we'd receive more story, then they'd have dlc for vex and cabal, and finally that leads to the release of destiny 2.
