This battle doesn't make sense since both can't die unless one of them looses the regenerative ability, deadpool did once but he got it back again.

The thing is they both have them, and Deadpool can't use his carbonadium sword on mercer because Mercers regeneration is due to Blacklight, I thought it would be interesting because of their regeneration.
