What Comet needs to include

Alright, so we know that Comet is going to be a major content release, or expansion, something that is supposedly bigger than the two DLC's we've seen so far. There are plenty of other things we could talk about adding: more story, more space to explore, new planets, possibly bug fixes, etc. But here's one thing I think this game absolutely needs to address: The City. We fight for the City, the House of Devils is "at our walls", on and on and on. And we literally have zero information about it. Everything we do is to protect the City, and we know absolutely nothing about it. We don't even know where it is, even though from game info and dialogue we can still apparently identify other parts of the globe by name. One of the biggest black holes in this game, for me, is returning to the Tower, staring off at the Traveler and the MASSIVE City below it, and knowing that I don't know a single fact or factoid or piece of trivia about it. I don't know if this was just a glaring oversight, cut content, whatever. To me, this game would make a million times more sense if you could see the Traveler from Russia. For one, we keep hearing about two walls - the wall around the city, and the Cosmodrome wall. If they were made part of the same structure, then so much in this game would start to make sense. Otherwise, if the House of Devils is at our walls, why are we flying to Russia to fight them? In my mind, you should be able to see the Traveler from the starting area, and everything on the other side of the Cosmodrome wall should represent our battle with the Devils to defend the City. Things would make so much more sense. Some ideas: - Bare minimum: Some story or quest that talks about Guardians being banned from the city. We deal with toxic environments, or after the Twilight Gap battle spilled into the City the City leaders decided that Guardians could only live in the Tower(s). The way Eva and some Tower NPC's act support this idea that we don't go into the City, but why? There's even an NPC that mentions some people don't even believe Guardians exist. - Better: The above, plus, give us some info on the City. Where is it located? Tell us more about the Factions. Other than them, who lives there? Tie the City to the story somehow, in a way that helps us learn about it. - Best: Let us explore some of the city. Make it a social area, add a couple vendors. Maybe even make it a monthly event, you can buy a passage coin from the Speaker and go down for the weekend and explore and learn some lore and buy a shader from Eva's sister. One of the biggest complaints about this game is how it can feel very empty, and how not a lot gets explained, and for me this is the worst one. Thoughts? Concerns? Guesses on where the damn City actually is?
