Someone as organized and well spoken as OP would make an amazing Clan leader.
No disrespect to your opinion or feedback. Trying to make helpful suggestions.

Deej - are your comments/answers RNG too?
-
That's a good way to attract the Rising Tide. We won't be silent!
-
Deej, suggesting that OP be a clan leader doesn't address the issue OP brought up.
-
Deej I'm getting annoyed by your cheap algorithm bs! The phoenix is Rising!
-
Hey DeeJ, where did this post go? It was ninja'd for no reason. It's a post that has been up for months and you yourself commented on its quality.
-
Way to deflect away from the giant post about match making. Seen you really need to get some answers man. They making you look like a fool. Deflecting, distracting, and avoiding. Typical

The phoenix is Rising! She will Scorch this Darkness into Enlightenment!

Why are you guys so self assure when it comes to this game and your "philosophy" regarding how it should be played? You stated in an interview, "there is no playbook for this" talking about destiny, all but admitting that this is purely trial and error for you guys.. And I've heard you guys talking about the fact that you all play your game and that you yourselves are bigger critics than anything we the community could point out to you. However, since this is trial and error for you guys and there's no denying that the community has done the bulk of the trials to find these errors, why not listen to what we suggest when we discover things that could make this game more fun for everyone?? And I'm not talking about competitive MP. I'm sure you would be quick to point out hot fixes based on feedback. Honestly husk of the pit is the first community requested change that I've seen, that is not solely about pvp in as long as I can remember. And I've been playing since first look alpha on ps4. Not only that but you guys go and make changes out of the blue that no one asks for, then when there is an outcry, you sit stubbornly behind your "philosophy" as if that is the only way things could be done. Where is your humility? I understand that as a developer, the guys you answer to have an attachment to their creation, but since launched and embraced by the community, it has become our game as well. You guys love numbers so much... I have a challenge for you. Go find the numbers of hours you guys have spent on development(I'm sure the number is huge, I'm not being dismissive of the effort that has been put into this game), but then take that number and compare it to the community total time played... We both know you don't actually need to do this to know which number comes out higher.. This game has become as much ours as it is yours, and I shouldn't even need to explain that to you.. If the devs aren't making this game for the players, then quite honestly I'm not sure what you guys are doing in the first place. For the love of reason, take some of our feedback and look at it with an open mind.. Just because it may not match what you all pictured from the outset does not mean it is not worth considering. In many cases, I would say it's worth a lot more than just consideration. It is ok to make mistakes.. It is not ok to defend mistakes stubbornly just because changing it goes against what you thought was the right way to do something..and I'll just throw out there that the same applies to us as players and our desires for the direction of this game. No one is ever right all the time, but the message I've gotten from bungie so far is that you guys think that you are right no matter what, and even though this is trial and error for you, even the errors are "right", and your changes to errors are "right", and you know what is best, even if you don't know exactly what you are doing, you are still right, if for no other reason, than because it is aligned with your philosophy for the game. You have lost my faith. At this point trust must be earned.. I know I'm not the only one. I no longer have content that is prepaid for that I might as well play because it is already bought. Any future endorsement from me will only come when I'm sure you will respect my investment, not say one thing then do something else, and most importantly, show some willingness to compromise and be transparent in your plans regarding the future of this game. You may not care if you've lost my trust, or if I, personally, plan on continuing with destiny, and at this point thats is fine, but if there is one person over there at bungie HQ that is willing to listen to a perspective even though it may be different than their own, then that is the person I am really trying to reach, because you've got a great foundation to make a game that's bigger than anything I've ever seen. I'd like to see it realized. I'd love to come back to it at that point. Until then, best of luck.

Its hard for Deej to talk when he's getting both shafts in his butt and mouth.
-
Give this man a slow clap.

Wow, what a straight up piece of shit. Why even respond. I really hope your not a father because your kids will just end up as little turds like you. I know he gets alot of shit, but even more a reason for him to take the better route. He's so butthurt.
-
Who shit in your cheerios today? Deej complements the OP wtf else can he do? and you humiliate and insult him? I won't even highlight hypocrisy in your father comment.
-
Edited by Soulink: 8/12/2015 5:32:33 PMI'm sorry. Is Deej your daddy? Or do you just have a crush on him? How can you defend that asinine comment? Sod off. And Destiny took a hot steaming DUMP in my cereal.
-
Calm down bro, I want the same thing as you, improvements on one of our current favorite games. Your just going about it the wrong way.
-
It doesn't matter how people respond. They (Bunglevision/Deej) don't care, or listen to constructive criticism. The changes to the game that are asked for don't happen unless it's a Nerf this gun, or that. Those types of comments get their attention for some reason. Bungie have made no positive changes to the mechanics of the game but love to screw with the in game economy such as the recent nerf to weapon parts. Take the also recent change to heavy ammo synth exchange rate with Xur. Why was it necessary to go from 5 heavy for one strange coin, to 3 for one? Doing this at the same time as lowering the drop for strange coins and decreasing or eliminating the content which used to be your main source for acquiring these items is ridiculous. What they want, and all they want is for people to spend more time grinding away just to have enough strange coins, to buy 3 of coins so they can grind away trying to get the gear they need, to level up the gear they already have! I bought a new console yesterday because of the release of Fall out 4 and a vast array of new AAA games that are coming out in the near future. I did NOT buy a copy of Destiny for the new console. For a game that I have spent an enormous amount of time playing, their unwillingness to make reasonable changes to the game have once again pushed me away from playing. This is the third hiatus that I've taken from the game. There is nothing for me to do now except the nightfall and raids. That's simply not enough to keep me playing, and every stupid change they make to try and force you to grind more simply pushes me, and in sure many more, further away from their game.

Lmfao did you use google translate too?
-
Lmfao nah rosetta stone.

Allow me to re-translate. "It's good to have someone well-spoken in the forums, who isn't telling me to go kill myself because I don't immediately drop anything and fulfill his wishes, even though I'm only a community manager."

Wow, you guys are -blam!-ing awful in these comments.
Someone as organized and well spoken as OP would make an amazing Clan leader. No disrespect to your opinion or feedback. Trying to make helpful suggestions.
Might I suggest an in game clan function then, and perhaps a timer of 1 week if you join a clan before you can leave it... make the decision meaningful Deej... by the way, excited for TTK, please take this boards cynicism with a large grain of salt! Watched your interview with IGN about 3 times, always enjoy your candor Deej!

Edited by ColNapalm: 8/12/2015 3:49:15 PMCause you're Community Suggeter now? Or was that your maternalistic reflex kicking in ( managing - barely - to not tell us 'how' to play and have fun)? There's a reason you have no friends, get called an arrogant prick and can't develop long lasting relationships Deej. Daddy didn't love you enough. Go hire Daniel Goleman already and infuse the emotional intelligence and maturity into Bungie that none of you managed to develop separately.
-
Edited by LilBlkCloud: 8/8/2015 5:28:31 AMWhy is the studio so lazy? The fact that so many essential online components are missing from this game paints Bungie as a second-rate studio. Are they happy with that status?

you have much to learn of matchmaking young grass hopper(we will break the trance those higher ups have on you dont worry deej).
