There's some logic in literally everything. Whether or not the logic is correct is the question.

How about the illogical deaths and respawns. Matter cannot be destroyed or created.

That's where the Space Magic crap comes in... I remember having some Hunter Boots that described how some Hunters who came across a Minefield would just intentionally step on these mines and die and rez and die and rez again until they're all gone. I feel like maybe the Ghost constantly makes a Clone of your guardian.
