Hey buddy, I stopped reading after the Hand Cannon section.... There are a couple of revolvers that have a 6 oclock position of the barrell on the cylinder... Some are actually pretty sick designs... • Destiny needs hand Cannons that SHOOT to the 6-oclock position

  • I actually didn't realize these existed. They are interesting designs, but I wonder is there any advantage to the design or is it just a niche thing?

  • Barrel sits lower in the hand, lowering bore axis. Which gives you less muzzle flip since there is barely any pivot point between the firearm and your hand. Only problem is you get a lot of powder residue on your hands.

  • I would imagine that's the case haha. I would love to add a revolver to my collection at some point, but I think I'll stick with designs I know. After a little research, these appear to be on the expensive side.

  • The Mateba's are on the VERY expensive side... The more i look at them and research them the more i want one though... cheapest i've seen on auctions was a pair for $12k, before that most were in the $9- 15k depending on the model and caliber... That semi auto action though, looks like it has less recoil then my 44 DE... but again... those are huge price tags ;(
