I know this is probably a pretty common response, but this is pretty much the reason why this isn't really a big deal: It's a game. They may not look like they would work in real life, but they look cool. Now if the design really bothers you, I would love to know what you think about the Thorn holding 9 huge pointy black dagger lookin' things- which are each the length of the gun itself- in a little cylinder :3
