I waited 8 months for my first one and it dropped from Ir Yut on Normal mode Crota's End. The very next night another dropped from Crota on Hard. About two weeks later my third dropped but I cannot remember where I got it from.

Legendary Engram. Right after another Legendary Engram decrypted into a Thunderlord. I laughed. My brother laughed. The toaster laughed. I shot the toaster. It was a grand old time.

And my 3rd Hawkmoon. It finally sunk in that I could play for another 100 years and not get a ghorn, or get one tomorrow - it's completely out of my control. That's not fun, rewarding or exciting.

I honestly wish that people who are deserving of gjallahorn get it. I'm not saying that you or anyone here doesn't deserve it but some people just suck so much that they don't deserve it at all
