Hi all, I'm trying to regain access to my original Bungie.net User Profile (URL #1 below). Bungie's link/unlink FAQ article isn't clear about the following: [quote] [b]I haven't been to the site in a while and I just signed in and I was forced to create a new Bungie.net User Profile. [u]If you had an older Bungie.net User Profile, you must login through that authentication method to gain access.[/u] [/quote] I AM using my old authentication method to gain access. The FAQ doesn't clarify what to do beyond that. Also according to the FAQ, your profile is linked to the email used to log in with and not your gamer tag. I was able to access the original email address tied to the old bnet profile and even migrated my Xbox Live gamer tag back to that old email. In 2007, I used that combination as my authentication for Bungie.net. So with all that logic, I should have been able to access my old profile again right? Am I doing something wrong? Is there some hidden property on my old profile that caused it to unlink with my old email? It would be awesome if a Bungie employee could look on the backend and definitively say I will never in my lifetime again gain access to that profile due to some broken hashed unique encrypted ID.
