oh my god, this makes possible sense, oni definitely set up the peace talks to take out that alien delegation (im assuming sangheili) but chief showed up, also the actual peace activist and his party i assume are unaware that oni set this up and he ended up being mortally wounded while john exfiled them and the alien delegation from the trap
