Sign of Duality Emblem - A Quick FAQ

Hey everyone! I have seen some people asking about to get the Sign of Duality emblem. With the fundraiser coming to an end this Saturday, I'll answer some quick questions I have been hearing. Please note: This is not an official post. I do not work for Bungie. However, I donated to the Guantlet fundraiser and have followed the fundraiser since it was announced. I won't be able to answer all of these with perfect accuracy since I am still waiting for the Guantlet fundraiser to end, but I looked up some info from what people have posted to come to these answers. Q: What is the Sign of Duality emblem? A: The Sign of Duality emblem is a special emblem being given out by Bungie to players who donate a minimum of $50 to one of two Bungie Foundation fundraisers. Here is a picture of the emblem as it looks in-game: Pic: https://www.bungie.net/pubassets/36896/sign_of_duality.jpg Q: What fundraisers can I donate at to get the emblem? A: There are 2 fundraisers. As of the time of this post, one of them has concluded. The Men in Kilts fundraiser has ended but was raising funds for the Seattle Ronald McDonald House. The Guantlet fundraiser is still ongoing and is raising funds for Hopelink. More info on these fundraisers can be found in the 4-9-15 Bungie Weekly Update. Q: What rewards can I receive for donating? A: From the 4-9-15 weekly update:
$10 – Your name will be mentioned in the Bungie Weekly Update $50 – The prize above, plus the “Sign of Duality” player emblem $100 – All prizes above, plus a signed poster from the Dev Team $250 – All prizes above, plus a photo with Team Bungie* $500 – All prizes above, plus lunch with Team Bungie*
Q: When is the last date to donate? A: May 16th, 2015 is the last day of the Guantlet fundraiser, this Saturday. Q: Can I donate anonymously to receive the rewards like the emblem? A: No! According to the Bungie folks on the Guantlet fundraiser, you need to put a name and email down with your donation. This is so Bungie can email you after the fundraiser concludes to get more information from you to give you your rewards. Q: What happens after the fundraiser ends? (Note: I do not know the exact details, but I pieced together what people have said from donating to the Men in Kilts fundraiser.) A: Sometime after the fundraiser ends (and presuming you didn't donate anonymously), Bungie will send you an email with a link to a private survey. In this survey, you will give Bungie your gamertag/PSN ID so they can reward you with the emblem. I cannot stress this enough: Make sure you spell your gamertag/PSN ID correctly. Q: How long does it take to receive my emblem? A: Bungie has to manually give you the emblem, so it might take a little bit of time. I would say anywhere from a few days to 2 weeks. Q: Where will my emblem appear? A: Again, I don't know the exact answer. However, if its like past rewards and emblems, the emblem will probably go to your Postmaster first. Once you redeem from the Postmaster, it will probably go to Tess in Special Orders afterwards. EDIT: Tok Ra Jolenar clarified for me: the emblem will appear in Special Orders sometime after you fill out the survey. This is all I have so far. If anyone has any questions still, feel free to post. If anyone has donated to the first fundraiser (Men in Kilts) and wants to chime in or clarify these answers, go right ahead as well. Thanks for donating everyone! -TravisSch
