Everyone should have gjallarhorn by now. Drop rates were significantly increased for a month. If people complain that they don't have one and say they raid, I just flat out don't believe them.
I do believe that gjallarhorn drop rates were reduced during the last patch though... Sucks for you guys now.
I also believe if you do 3 Crota norms, 3 Crota hard, and 3 VoG hard every week you would have one by now. I think that people who say they raid every week and still haven't got one are lying and don't raid all as much as me and my other raid mates who truly do raid a lot. Just saying from experience, all the people I know who wanted one and I witnessed raid that much have at least gotten one, most of us more than one.
*edit* thanks for all the replies! I enjoy reading what you guys think! I have no proof that drop rates were ever increased. This is just purely what I have observed! Add me on Ps4 same name and we can raid so hopefully I can help you celebrate when you get your first Gjally!

I DO do raids, passionately to get my hands on either Vex or Gjallarhorn, I see them drop but NOT for me. Ive been here since Januari or so and it-just-doesnt-drop-for-me. So quit those statements. Please, you cannot possibly imagine the frustration it brings to not have that freakin Gjallarhorn yet despite putting in all that effort across a bunch of chars.

I can honestly say though that i am one of those people who have been raiding since October after Destiny release and still have not had one. And i do the raids every week. I finally took the time however to get my Hunter to raiding level but by your standards even with two characters i still should have had one. Some people really are just that unlucky. But hopefully now that i have three i can get one.

Haha nah. I've deleted 3 level 32s just to have something else to do. I've put in my time. Also have 4 gjallys. And there is not one single person on my friends list (about 50 friends who play destiny) that don't have this stupid gun. I can make whatever observations I observe. And I did. If you don't agree that's okay, but don't jump on here telling me by my stats that my observation is wrong. That's not what the forums are for.

no your grimoire would still show despite deleting carachters. u have done 41 vaults and 78 crotas. wetehr u delete caracters or not them stats dont change as its tied to ur bungie acount not just your carachters so before u say people are lying,how about not lying yourself.making out u done this n that members of my clan have been playing since beta been doing crotas and vogs regular and have not had gally drop weras ive had 8. shit is what shit is

I only have 2 characters but do 2x nm crota, 2x hm crota, 2x nm vog, 2x hm vog, 2x nightfalls, strike playlist, crucible, IB, and have been doing PoE since released. 860 hours in. Every exotic bar ghorn (and now the new ones from HoW). Don't care if you straight down don't believe me... its fact.

I do the raids three times every week, nightfall 3 times and PoE probably 5 or 6 times a week. Still dont have Gally or Fatebringer

I've done all the raids every week and I don't have one. Day 1 player too and my game stats prove it. I always see it drop just not for me.

I have a friend who does raid and do all the nightfalls every week, but it will not drop for him. It took me almost 1100 hrs to get mine. Now I have six of them, got one from iron banner today.

Hell yes. I spent $95 to get Gjallarhorn. No luck. And no, you cannot buy it with real money, I just said that because I spent $60 for Destiny, and $35 for the House of Wolves and the Dark Below.

False. I am over 1k hrs in. I have played the game since day one. I have re-created several toons, and I still have yet to have a Gjally drop for me. I have every older exotic, but the Gjally.

right there with you have had the game since week one playing near religiously and it has dropped for 8/10 people of my clan only one of which has been playing longer than i have (alpha) wasn't really bothering me until just recently as i'm not a rocket launcher guy but it's so damn good for prison of elders i want one really bad now. naturally it's not -blam!-ing dropping, still. and will never drop. ever. *blows head off*

Let's raid. I do all three VoG and Crota Normals as wells as Crota hards searching for the Crux. If I get my ghorn, you're right. If I don't, you shut up

I didn't code the game so I don't know for sure but ive heard you can only get the crux if you only do Crota hard from the beginning and not normal first- got it in two tries doing this. Plus the gun is only a collector's item anyways..
