Step One: Have Xur sell Thunderlord so super casuals lose their coins.
Step Two: Have hardest Arc Burn Nightfall so super casuals think they will crush it with said Thunderlord (that isn't even upgraded yet) and struggle and maybe get more coins or maybe give up.
Step Three: Have Xur sell Gjallarhorn so super casuals who are now short on coins take adderol and go on crazy weekend-long ROC grindfests or power level a second toon (which I did for Red Death) to get said Gjallarhorn.
Step Four: Release House of Wolves DLC. See massive bump in play time and player count numbers for all level and category of players because they are ALL content-starved and the nature of the game is repetitive anyway.
Step Five: Add the player and play time bumps from steps three and four and also consider that even the more casual player who just got the most coveted gun in the game and has new content to level it up on is going to stick around to level it up and check out the new stuff. Record total.
Step Six: Profit.
Step Seven: 72 hours prior to the last Weekly Update post of the month of June, hand DeeJ slip of paper with tallied totals from Step Five. Instruct DeeJ to brag about those numbers for one full paragraph of at least four sentences in upcoming Weekly Update post. Order Champagne for Executive Board party.
Edit - All of that said, I love this game and have been having a blast playing with you all.

LOL! Its true
-

My cats breath smells like cat food Pro tip - bungie is here for money, stop being suprised by that

There was a time when I would've laughed at this for being an obvious troll. And then they took down the servers for the exact length of time that their twitch reveal occurred. And never posted any update info. I'm not laughing anymore.
-
Even if I did buy Thunderlord, I'd still have well over 100 coins.
-
F@ck it. I'm game
-
On step 3, if you have 3 characters lvl 30-32 you can do weekly and get 27 strange coins in 1 day and exotic weapons cost 23 a few leftover for heavy synthesis
