Ummmm... they said in the PoE release video that there were somewhere between 20-25 modifiers added in house of wolves. I don't know what misinformed hole you pulled 8 modifiers out of.

I believe the conversation went like this: "How many modifiers are there?" "Hahaha" "Okay, is it north or south of 20" "It's around that" They did NOT say 20-25. It could be 8 or 32.

I think there are like 20 total but there are only 8 new ones because they are using all the old modifiers too

That's weird cause there is a video on YouTube of someone who got to go play HoW at Bungie and they wrote down all the new modifiers and they said there was 15..... It makes you wonder maybe bungie is holding out so they can say SURPRISE!!! Lol

If you include the existing modifiers it's about 15. Haven't seen the video you're referring to so can't say whether that's maybe what they're talking about?

Total of 16 including the new ones so getting closer at least. That being said I'm not sure you could really count heroic or epic as I'm sure they'll automatically be applied to the higher difficulty ones anyway
