I'd prefer if they gave us the same number of slots and let us choose what goes in each, instead of reserving spots for certain items. I.e. My weapons portion is completely full, and I have more weapons I want in there. I can't, but my armor portion is completely empty. That's 24(I think) slots that I could be using for guns or other equipment.

Yepp good idea. My armor space is enpty too. It is just Looking blank at me!

Mine as well. Weapons would be full if i collected everything.
