Quite honestly, sometimes it can be better. For example, if either weapon will one-shot the enemies you're facing, why not use the one with the higher fire rate since the extra damage is wasted anyway?

Thanks man. And a logical reply. That's how I see it anyway. I prefer it for the fact of fire rate. I don't think Firefly is that great. In essence, it is amazing with Thrall and Dregs. Any other time? God no.
