Tactical as in tossing them right at you? I have personally seen the retarded blast radius of trip mines, you can dodge them completely and they'll still kill you lawl

Thats why it's tactical, it can be used to play the objective or be used as a sticky grenade. Just be happy that all those hunters aren't out there fist of panicking the crucible to bits.
