Mortal Kombat X update patch

Has anybody else not yet recieved the update for jason vorhees on mk x? I've seen people play as him and it was annouced to be released on may 5th... but i have not gotten any updates. I have purchased the kombat pack too. Any ideas?

I read that on ed boon's Twitter feed it'll take time for it to sync up for all players.
