Distance is irrelevant.
What should be a tracked stat instead is accuracy at a specific distance.
50+ feet away? Hand canons don't hit accurately.
100+ feet away? ARs don't hit accurately.
150+ feet away? PRs don't hit accurately.
200+ feet away? SRs don't hit accurately.
Obviously those numbers need work bu the point stands.
That'd be ideal, but right now ARs have an effective reach of around 20-40 feet before damage drop-off makes them laughably bad. Within 20-40ft. you're within "If I get the first shots off and they're not packing an Exotic handcannon, I may kill this guy" range.
