Explosive rounds yields more overall damage!? I had no idea.

Not in PVP and in PVE they actually take a portion of the total damage and deal it in an area. Explosive rounds are shit.

They actually add 50 damage to body shots and 17.5% to head shots. (I included the damage that is removed from the initial bullet, so I understand that the round itself is weaker, but the total damage is higher)

Fatebringer gives 1004 crit damage and 1004 from explosive rounds, so thats 2008 damage ;-)

Edit: the enemy you shot gets 1004 crit and 1004 from exp. rounds (2008), and you give 504 to near enemys. Go to youtube

No it doesn't. It does 1504 without Explosive and 1004 with and deals 500ish in an area. Did you even read the description of the perk for explosive rounds. It DOES NOT add damage it actually takes away from the base damage and puts the damage in an AOE situation. Simple understanding of English should be all you need to understand this.

Yes it does, im not on my ps4 right now, but later i post a video or pic to show the 1004 crit, and 1004 from explosive, add the 2 and you deal 2008 damage.

Edit: the damage that you give aoe is around 500 damage, but the damage the enemy gets is 1004 from crit (yellow) and 1004 (white) so the 2 is 2008

Huh, that's probably tallying overkill damage as well, seeing as the precision shot only can only effect one enemy while the explosion can be applied to other enemies. But I'll test it in a short while on an enemy that won't die from one hit.

So It's weird. It only doubles the damage on Vex. Makes sense actually, but not in terms of game design xD. I'm going to make a thread with the clips I made, it'll be ready in a second. So I owe you an apology, because while it does in fact increase your overall dps to the Vex, it does not to the Hive at least. So it is inconsistent but you are also not wrong :-)

No problem man, the fallen also take that dps, but sometimes the firefly perk doesnt work.
