I spent two months in England and spent a good deal of time with a guy from Yorkshire. Love the accent! (And Yorkshire tea is the best kind of tea!) Are you on ps4?

Yeah can't beat a good cup of Yorkshire tea lol!! And I am indeed mate!
-
And to be honest, Yorkshire pudding is the best thing ever (as long as it's made right...) Is your tag the same as above?
-
Haha always on a Sunday roast them badboys lol! It is mate. Speaking of Yorkshire tea I'm on a night shift so might have a brew now ha!
-
Now I'm jealous... And thirsty! Unfortunately I'm usually not on Sundays. I'll add you anyways though.
-
Lol! Yeah I work weekends so I'm normally on on my days off or maybe a hour or 2 after finish work!! All work no play!. Yeah my cousins are from Pittsburgh they're jealous off the tea drinking too they deny it but I no deep down they could murder a cup lol.
-
I used to hate tea... For real. Then I spent two months in England and learned to love it!
-
Haha it's lovely!! Where about a in Yorkshire did you stay? I'm from Wakefield
-
Oh I wasn't actually in Yorkshire. I was just outside of Carnforth. (It's about a half hour drive north of Lancaster).
-
Ah right that's where my other half comes from around there she's from Blackburn Lancashire.
-
Oh cool! I really enjoyed that whole part of England. Lots of places to walk around outside with nice scenery. I lucked out with some great weather when I was there too
-
Yeah I'll give the UK that has some nice scenery when out in the country side. Brilliant history too as far back when cave men was roaming the world and then on to Romans etc. also a lot of nice castles still stand etc wouldn't change my country for nothing lol! Even if I was a millionaire lol. Bloody hell great weather!! Feel privileged normally pissing it down lol
-
We got two weeks of sun and 25C in a row haha. All the Brits there were saying that us Canadians and Americans broke the weather. (There were a bunch of us staying in a castle together).
-
Bloody hell not often it's like that mate. You got lucky haha. But you learn not to take the weather for granted across here cause it's rare we get nice weather lol! That's why love my hols abroad to catch some rays! Me and the Mrs of to Cuba this year can't wait been once before often see tons of Canadians there escaping the cold also ha!

Edited by sirREGlNALD: 5/4/2015 4:16:27 AMI've never been. The warmest place over been is Spain. It was in March and a handful of us were walking around in shorts and t shirts and everyone else was wearing winter jackets and looking at us funny lol. Yeah it gets cold in the winter here. (-30C is common). But I do enjoy the snow... Unless I'm shoveling it... Hope your trip's good!

Edited by Butters7588: 5/4/2015 4:20:17 AMYeah I no it can get cold across in Canada I've worked in Alberta and Edmonton when I used to be a catalyst engineer working on oil refineries working alongside clean harbours. My mate ended moving to Edmonton and getting a job with clean harbours as a project manager landed on his feet big move! When I was there think it was around -25c enjoyed every minute of it. Although I think the Canadians couldn't take the Brits banter with calling each other a T**t etc joking off course lol. looked at us gone out lol!

Oh yeah haha there are a few words that don't mean the same thing. My friend was making a joke about a fanny pack... Here that's a pouch that some people wear at the front of the waist... He had no clue why everyone thought it was so funny!
