There is a ridiculous amount of cheating in IB this time.
This is ridiculous. Every match I am in there is at least two people limiting their bandwidth (red bar).
If this is how you are going to let it go down Trials of Osiris is going to be complete crap.
Do something.

Same sh!t IB, different month. Gets worse everytime. WO dedicated servers to host PVP, this is what happens. Bungie and activision cost cutting at its finest to maximize their profits and shirk their consumers.

2 RepliesUs: Bungie, The thorn and the last word are ridiculously over powered in iron banner and I have yet to play a game with a stable connection trying to get the same 6 bounties we've had since day one. Bungie: Shhhh, give us 10 bucks for more broken content it'll be okay.

Lag switchers r the players that u shotgun 4 times point blank then melee twice, then u assume they r dead and turn ur back to move on. U then get shotguned in the back and they then run off with full health!!! I have friends who arc black a player three or four times. While this is happening one of their team mates has time to kill them. The player they were arc blading then runs off with full health. This is lag switching. On the other hand lots of people have red bar connections but they r not lag switchers. U shoot them and it seems to take half a clip of hawkmoon or thorn. U get killed and then sure enough they die and u end up with a damn postmortem. Also I regularly come across games where 3/4 of the 12 players r red bar. They can't all be lag switchers. If u only come across games where 1 or 2 have red bar connections. Then I think ur lucky.

They are using hacks and mods... It's fricken impossible to land some of these shots or survive them. If you still think it's just lag, do some research. There is a TON of destiny hacks... I'm just not even gonna try to play. Why bother? I'm constantly fighting hacks... Destiny is a hackers paradise right now.

2 RepliesScenario ... IB, 4 against one, and all the same level. The one gets hit twice with gally, 5 times with a shot gun at close range, danced upon by a blade dancer, and eats a whole clip from an Up for Anything rifle all at the same time, and takes absolutely NO damage what-so-ever. The one then proceeds to melee the 4 to death. If Bungie doesn't consider such activity cheating, then would they at least offer us up "their" definition of the word? Otherwise, please let us in on this mystery AMAZING armor that makes people impervious to damage while in PvP. And yes, this player was reported by all four of us, and yes, this player also had the red bar of limited bandwidth.

10 RepliesPresumptuous to assume that every red bar is a cheater. I've had some friends drop to red mid-match for whatever reason and I know for a fact they aren't doing it on purpose.

I don't think its the Destiny servers that are the problem entirely. I think its all those third party BOT services and everybody and their brothers mothers using j-tagged xboxs and lag switch type gimmicks....All that has just about ruined PvP based games.

Red bars during the iron banner have always been a problem, probably because Bungie doesn't try know how to handle the load that it puts on the crucible servers. During a normal week, a lot fewer people play crucible for a lot less time, then when the Iron Banner drops *BAM* 10x people playing as much as they can, grinding for whatever legendary is on sale abs the servers/matchmaking are in shambles trying to keep up.

I came across of lot of invincible and/or teleporting jumpy types with red bars tonight than I remember though it has been a while since I played any type of crucible more than a round. I always think of crucible as a laggy thing anyway though. [spoiler]Yet one more reason PVP is not this game's strength.[/spoiler]

2 Repliesthere are idiots who believe intentionally slowing their net helps. they are apparently too stupid to even realize how lag affects game play and they need to be the host for this to work, it also may not help their team, just them bungie needs to do regional matchmaking and speed/ping tests. match slow speeds with slow speeds and faster with faster
