The Daily Dreg #3

Hello fellow Fallen and welcome to the first episode of The Daily Dreg brought to you by your favorite Dreg, Greg. Greg- "Hello there my fellow fallen. Boy, am I glad to see you guys again. As most of you probably know after the second episode of The Daily Dreg, the Kell had me see him about a certain... issue... that was brought up by Askor. The Kell originally planned to have me sent to the Prison of Elders and hope for mercy from the guardians, but with the all of the good feedback with the past episodes of The Daily Dreg I was given a different punishment. So I am now here with the sad excuse for a group known as The House of Exiles until the Kell either forgives me or forgets about what I did, so I will probably be here until the next raid comes out. On an COMPLETELY unrelated subject, there have been rumors swirling around the Houses that a certain Dreg, let's call him "gerg" has committed treason against all of the Houses. Apparently this "gerg" tampered with all of gear that the House of Winter used while guarding Askor. This certain individual re-routed all of the power from their armor into their weapons, causing them to do extraordinary damage against their enemies while also causing them to be unable to withstand the weakest of elemental attacks. "Gerg" would have been called a hero for doing this, if it wasn't during the guardian's nightfall week against the House of Winter. The amazing amounts of damage would have been a blessing, but unfortunately many snipers participated in the strikes and, well, Askor and his defenders never stood a chance. The Kells believe that this "gerg" would need a motive for tampering with the House of Winter, such as having what little reputation they had ruined by Askor revealing a secret of "gerg's" on a transmission for all to hear. If anyone has any information on who "gerg" is they are asked to tell their local Kell and hope "gerg" does not exact his revenge once more. Now for next story for today we will be going to our Earth correspondent who has finally repaired our transmitter. You know him, you love him, guardians can't ever seem to find him, it is the one and only Randal the Vandal!" Randal- "Hey there Greg, nice to see you still in one piece. Anyways, it seems that the Hive have launched yet another assault on Earth and this time, Omnigul does not seem to be the leader." Greg- "Wait, what?!?!" Randal- "Yeah, that's right. It seems that there is another powerful Hive leader on Earth, and only those who have not seen the horror that is Omnigul can challenge him. This Hive leader is one of three Celebrants of Oryx located in one of the buildings in the forgotten shore, and the cocky little buggers picked the building in my front yard to live in of all places! I tried clearing them out with the an entire Forgotten Shore defense, but after a five minute battle only I walked out alive. That damn Celebrant just would not die. He is just as tough as me but more than twice my strength level! That, and he also uses a Boomer which is nearly unavoidable. I did however manage to wound him, but when I did he became furious and chased me out of his den when he charged me with his gun raised above his head. I tried to fend him off with head shots but he was unfazed by my shots and grabbed ahold of me. The Celebrant then walked out of his den while carrying me and then threw me off the off the building towards the cliff. Luckily, I was able to hold on to a rock and crawl back to my home with my two arms that weren't broken. So yeah, that was what I was doing when you were interviewing Askor. Oh, and one more thing, Askor's No Land Beyond went missing before the guardians came to recapture him, and a few of the guys noticed that you had *cough* found *cough* a No Land Beyond that looks a lot like his and... Greg- "That's about all the time we have for today, any LAST words Randal?" Randal- "Yeah, go out there my friends and show that Celebrant of Oryx who the real boss of the Forgotten Shore is while I wait for the rest of my wounds to heal. And "gerg", I hope you get what you deserve..." Greg- "Okay Randal, well folks you heard it here first, Omnigul is back and this new unnamed rival of Randal's needs to be put in his place, so let's go out there and show him what we are made of! Goodnight folks, and happy hunting!" A brief word from our sponsor: --------------------------------------------------- This Celebrant is real and only a guardian without any DLC can challenge him and be sure to tell me what you want me to include in next weeks episode of The Daily Dreg and I WILL include one or two suggestions. Remember to keep on commenting and liking these and I will make sure to keep them coming!
